Denise DuBarry Hay opens fully organic restaurant in Palm Desert
Actress and philanthropist Denise DuBarry Hay will be opening an all-organic restaurant, Wildest Greens, on January 15 to share her healthy outlook on food.
“This restaurant was born out of my love of health and wellness, because I firmly believe that our bodies are at their optimum when we eat clean, detoxify and make exercise part of our daily life,” says DuBarry Hay. “I am inspired by the quote from Hippocrates: ‘Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food’. Wildest Greens will be a place to get delicious and healing food.
Wildest Greens – located in former Clementine’s space in Palm Desert, between Highway 111 and El Paseo just west of Monterrey – will feature highly skilled fusion techniques using organic and nutritious ingredients. Guests will be able to order fresh cold-pressed juices and organic coffees, teas, beers and wines, as well as homemade kombuchas on tap as well as gourmet dishes suitable for all diets – such as raw, vegan, gluten-free , paleo and macrobiotics. .
The restaurant will also offer flavorful salads with inventive dressings such as sesame, soy, ginger and turmeric – incorporating fresh turmeric from the DuBarry Hay family farm in Kauai – guilt-free versions of burgers and pizzas ( that don’t sacrifice good taste), homemade soups and bone broth, plus delicious desserts with natural sweeteners and the promise without white sugar or white flour.
